Cologne International Piano Festival

Ladies and gentlemen, dear students,

The Cologne International Piano Festival ClaviCologne will take place for the first time in Cologne from March 21st through March 29th 2014.

ClaviCologne is open for talented young people and piano music students from all over the world. The Festival consists of two parts: master classes with outstanding teachers from European and American conservatories as well as a contest for young piano players up to the age of 17.

Our curriculum is unique, because the students have the opportunity to take lessons from different Professors, allowing them to widen their cultural experience and to expand their development as artists. In addition, it is also a great opportunity to make new contacts.

Most festival activities will take place at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne. This provides a great opportunity to become acquainted with the atmosphere of the largest conservatory in Europe music schools and to prepare for the possibility of further studies. Concerts in Cologne, Aachen, Bonn, Wuppertal and other cities of the region are scheduled, both for the participants of the master classes and for the winners of the contest. The ClaviCologne Festival will be an outstanding cultural experience not only for the participants, but also for all devotees of classical music.
